Braided bread with oil and grape seed flour

Mmm this fluffy bread also attracts with its shape. Although it looks complicated, it is quite simple to prepare.


  • 1.5 dl of lukewarm milk
  • 3 dl of lukewarm water
  • 30 g of fresh yeast
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 20 g of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of grape seed oil
  • 50 g of grape seed flour
  • 750 g smooth flour


Mix lukewarm milk, water, grape seed oil, sugar and yeast in a bowl and leave for 20 minutes. Then add salt, plain flour and grape seed flour. Knead well. If necessary, add a little more flour to prevent the dough from sticking. Let it rest for 1 hour.

Divide the dough into three equal parts and roll into rolls 80 - 100 cm long. At one end, the rolls are pressed together and braided. When we're done, tie the dough into a circle and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Beat the egg and milk in a bowl and coat the braid with it.

Bake for 20 minutes at 200 °C. When it is baked, take the braid out of the oven and cover it with a napkin for 20 minutes.
