Homemade hazelnut spread with chocolate

Who doesn't love chocolate-hazelnut spread? But have you ever looked at the ingredients?

Even at home, you can prepare an excellent chocolate-hazelnut spread in a very simple way.


  • 250 g of hazelnuts
  • 40 g of cocoa powder
  • 40 g powdered sugar or honey
  • a pinch of salt
  • tablespoon of grape seed oil


Arrange the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and bake them for 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 °C. Mix at least once in between.

Then wrap the hazelnuts in a kitchen towel and roll with your hands until the skins are removed.

Put the cooled hazelnuts in a blender and grind them into a smooth mass. Add the rest of the ingredients to the mass and mix until a smooth mixture is obtained.

If the spread is too dry for our taste, add oil. If it is not sweet enough, add a sweetener (sugar or honey).

Leave the spread at room temperature before use.
