Steak tartare with beef and grape seed oil

Tartar steak is considered a specialty served on special occasions. Guests will be especially impressed if we make it ourselves. Have you tried it yet? You only need 20 minutes and a sharp knife :)


  • 300 g beef (best cuts of beef)
  • 2 anchovies
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • grape seed oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • basilica


The beef must be well chilled.

First cut the beef into small cubes, then finely chop it, add salt and put it in the refrigerator. Finely chop the anchovy and also put it in the refrigerator.

Put soft-boiled eggs, mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well with a hand mixer. At the end, mix in the grapeseed oil with a whisk or a spoon to obtain a homogeneous sauce.

Take the chopped beef and anchovies from the fridge and mix. Add the prepared sauce and mix again. Serve on a plate, drizzle with grape seed oil and sprinkle with chopped basil.
